US Stock Futures Await Fed Speeches Amid Interest Rate Speculation

US stock futures fluctuated around the flatline on Tuesday, after recording three consecutive sessions of gains. Investors are closely monitoring the interest rate outlook, with the likelihood of a cut in September currently estimated at approximately 67%. The upcoming speeches from Federal Reserve officials throughout the week are anticipated to offer additional insights into the timing of the first rate reduction. In corporate news, Disney shares declined by over 4.5% in premarket trading following a slight revenue miss and lower-than-expected Disney+ subscriber numbers. On the other hand, before the opening bell, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Meta, and Alphabet all experienced declines, while Apple saw a modest increase of about 0.8%.

After breaking the level 18080 resistance yesterday, the Nasdaq surged to 18200, with the first significant resistance seen around the mid-channel level at 18250. A breakthrough and sustained presence above this level could push the price toward the 18475-18480 range. This level, in addition to being an important horizontal resistance, also represents the April opening price, and surpassing it may increase the likelihood of retesting the historical peak around 18700. In the event of a corrective pullback and a downward turn, the initial support level to monitor is at 18075. A breach of this level could deepen the retracement, potentially leading the price down to 17900. Below this, the third support level to watch is in the range of 17780-17750.
