Bitcoin Trades Near $61K Amid Market Resilience
Bitcoin (BTC) showed resilience over the past hour, yet it remains nearly 3% lower compared to the previous session. As of 12 pm today, BTC was trading at $61,035.66. The decline in BTC also affected other altcoins such as Ethereum (ETH), Tether, Dogecoin, Avalanche, and Shiba Inu, which saw declines of up to 2.5%. On the positive side, altcoins like Solana, XRP, Toncoin, Cardano, and Tron were trading higher, with gains reaching up to 2% during the same period.
Bitcoin, as it continues its attempts to consolidate, has its first support level at 59,600, with subsequent levels to watch below 58,500 and 57,500. On the upside, the initial resistance is at 61,500. Above this level, further resistances to monitor are at 63,900 and 65,200.
